Organized by ACTED TVET project Team to mobilize community for Technical and vocational training going to be initiated in Dir Poly Technic College Warai from next month.
The session was participated by Students, local influential, College staff, TVET professionals, social activitists of Dir upper.
The participants were told that ACTED Pakistan will support Dir poly Technic college Warai in different technologies to improve quality and access to TVET services in the area. The marginalized segments like disables, women and poor are particularly target groups to be mobilized to get training and be employed in public or private sector.
Admissions are open in Motorcycle mechanic, domestic electrician, Industrial electrician, Generator mechanic, Solar penal power technician or Solar Penal Technician, Refrigeration and air conditioning, dress making and embroidery under the project in Dir poly Technic college till November 20th, 2013. The participants were asked to inform as many marginalized and willing youth to take admissions as they can.
They were also told by Project Team facilitators that ACTED Under the project will provide tool kits and market linkages facilitation for internship and employment of the graduates under the program.
Note
The same project is also implemented in Swat and Dir lower in 15 different technical colleges. Every one willing to participate and get employed with honorable source of income can apply in the target Technical centers in Swat, Dir Upper and Dir lower.
