Afghan journalist Ahmad Hanayesh, affiliated with Radio Azaadi, Dunya, Kahkisha radio Injured in Capital Islamabad. 🚨 Afghan journalist Ahmad Hanayesh, affiliated with Radio Azaadi, Dunya, Kahkisha radio, and a member of the Pak-Afghan Journalists Union, survived an assassination attempt in Islamabad.  Last night, around 12:00 am, while on his way home in the G-6 Embassy Road area, he was attacked by three unknown assailants. They shot him from close range, with one bullet grazing his head and two penetrating his leg deeply. Medical professionals have informed that two bullets remain lodged in his leg, and they plan to remove them tomorrow after surgery. Initially, Mr. Hanayesh received first aid at #PIMS hospital before being transferred to a private hospital.
