Why democracy is great? Here every one is the leader, the decision maker

Why democracy is great? Here every one is the leader,  the decision maker and the hero.  By Naeem Khan CSP Because in democracy every human being is the same. Democracies guarantees equality, liberty and pursuit of happiness.   Poor and least educated has the same status as the rich and educated as democracy gives credit to the potential that every human being is equally great just by being human.  Democracy is revolt against feudalism, dictatorship, autocracy, authoritarianism, Fascism, Nazism, Communism,  Socialism, kingship,  monarchy,  aristocracy,  plutocracy and all such systems which destroys the status of individual and make her or him as servant or slave of others.  In democracy, there are ways to resolve different views and conflicts peacefully as well as there is respect for human dignity. Everyone has the freedom to act, speak and think freely (as long as it does not stop others doing the same). Equality before the law, safe ...

Difference between conspiracy and intervention. Sazish Aur Mudakhelat

Difference between conspiracy and intervention By Naeem Khan. Conspiracy is a secret plan by a group to do something unlawful or harmful. Intervention is the act of interfering with the outcome or course especially of a condition or process (as to prevent harm or improve functioning).  Politically intervention is interference by a state in another's affairs as many states invade, conquer, strike as imperialist etc in a negative way or as globalization, Internationalism,  International Cooperation, International trade, Neo-liberalism,  WTO etc in a positive way.  Conspiracy is a negative thing while a doctor or a teacher can intervene but can't conspire.  The recent explanation of differentiating both must be understood in this backdrop.  However, the blame or claim of conspiracy by a foreign government is never proved while reporting of a conversation by an official of one country by another country is not the stance of of the alleged conspiracy or interven...

SIMILARITIES OF GHANI KHAN AND JAUN ELIA’S POETIC SENSIBILITIES”

“SIMILARITIES OF GHANI KHAN AND JAUN ELIA’S POETIC SENSIBILITIES” When I say, ”The Poet”. What kind of a person is pictured in your imagination? Definitely a person who loves, a person who can give up everything for the sake of love, a person who screams, “Beloved! Beloved” incessantly trying to prove that the spirit of love has completely overtaken his soul. A person who is unable to find a single moment of solace when his beloved is out of sight, a person who never betrays his supreme objective of love, a person who is honest about his feelings, a person who never fakes pain or suffering, a person who would wish the brightest ecstasies for his love even if he has to endure the darkest agonies himself, and a person whose pride lies in calling himself an exponent of love. Weren’t you thinking of a person possessing such a character? Yes, you were! Because that’s how poets are supposed to be. But let me introduce you to another kind of poets; the ones who openly admit their flaws a...

Portrait of Bahlul Khan Miyana (Pashtun), a high ranking noble of the Bijapur sultanate

Portrait of Bahlul Khan Miyana (Pashtun), a high ranking noble of the Bijapur sultanate, made in c.1686 by an anonymous artist. Bahlul Khan Miyana first served as commander-in-chief of the army of Bijapur sultanate, and later as regent for the child king Sikandar Adil Shah (r. 1672-1686). 1- The Miyana tribe belongs to the Saraban division of Pashtuns. They are found in Baluchistan province of Pakistan. Most of its branches have become extinct or have lost their identity. Their en-masse migration to India greatly weakened them and they fell easy prey to their Baluch neighbours. Luni, Jafar, Zmari and Gharshin tribes are remnants of the Miyana tribe.  2- Bijapur sultanate was located in south-western India, straddling the Western Ghats range of southern Maharashtra and northern Karnataka. It was ruled by the Adil Shahi dynasty from 1490 to 1686. After the fall of Bijapur sultanate, the Miyanas established their own principality at Savanur which became princely state of British...

Ghani Khan: A man from the future & a legend misunderstood:

Ghani Khan: A man from the future & a legend misunderstood: Ghani Khan, also called the Mad Philosopher, whose poetic depth, uniqueness, individuality, diversity, and imaginative colorfulness are the matchlessness self-indulging traits only owned by him. He was a man who attacked the fixed social symbols, stereotypes and the religious conventions beset by the influential elements of the society and the state and embodied the socio-religious abstractions. Of all the various diversions from his poetry, the attempts of reclaiming an enlightened society and a tolerant youth outstood as matchless ones in the history of Pashto literature. He was a man from the future and a philosopher who postulated predictive rubrics for nation-building and resplendent social cleansing. He cannot be classified in any specific genre of poets as his poetry provides a homogenized glimpse of cohesively accomplished romance and tragedy, war and peace, struggle and revolution, allegory and satire, mystic...

The private world of Ghani Khan By Arshad Khan.

The private world of Ghani Khan By Arshad Khan.  English Blog About Ghani Khan Baba Having already enjoyed the privilege of attending historical Jamia Millia Dehli, destiny brought Ghani Khan to Anand Bhawan -- the home of Jawaharlal Nehru in Allahabad, for eight long months, to occupy the rooms where Motilal Nehru once lived. Over here, he was looked after by Kamala, Jawaharlal’s wife, while for company, he had comely, Indira Priyadarshini -- later day Indira Gandhi, Prime Minister of India. As if proximity of these towering historical figures was not enough, sometimes around 1934, Jawaharlal Nehru sent him and Indira to study together at Shantiniketan Academy (currently Visva Bharati University), founded by great Nobel Laureate, Rabindranath Tagore, where he studied journalism , arts and sculpture while Indira took up Chemistry and History. Ghani is a phenomenon, typical of rural Charsadda and Mardan, associated with making of coarse sugar (gur) from boiling sugarcane extract. the so...

Netaji. Subash Chandar Boss. Life And Struggle For Azad Hind

Netaji. Subash Chandar Boss, Leader Of Azad Hind Movement. By Waseem Altaf  One of the most prominent leaders of Indian freedom struggle Subhash Chandra Bose was born in 1897 in Cuttak, Orissa. A brilliant student, he topped the matriculation exam and obtained a first class in graduation with Philosophy as a major subject. He stood fourth in the Indian Civil Services Exam held in England in 1920. He could have progressed as a bureaucrat but deeply disturbed by the Jallianwala bagh incident, he left civil service apprenticeship and came back to India in 1921. A mesmerizing speaker, he was the Congress president in 1938/39 and could have capitalized on his position in the party. However, foremost of his considerations was Indian independence. Hence, seeing an opportunity in the Second World War he established Azad Hind Fauj in 1943 to oust the British out of India. While in India and influenced by Deshbandhu Chittaranjan Das and Mahatama Gandhi, he joined the Indian National Co...

Basics of Quantum Mechanics. About Basic Quantum Physics.

Basics of Quantum Mechanics. About Basic Quantum Physics.  By Waseem Altaf  We as humans experience the world of big objects, at a large scale, at the macro-level, in dimensions where laws of classical mechanics operate- for example I can either be at Qazafi stadium or Fortress stadium Lahore but not at both at one time. And if I hit a ball with a bat, it will follow one particular path but not several. And after the ball is hit it will not influence another ball in a parallel playground.  But will the same happen if we are dealing with particles at the sub-atomic level? The answer is no! Laws which govern the behavior of sub-atomic particles fall in the realm of Quantum Mechanics. And since our brains are not evolved to imagine reality at such a microscopic level, things begin to appear extremely weird. Imagine that you are a sub-atomic particle. In this case, you can be at Qazafi stadium and Fortress stadium at the same time. And if you have hit a ball with a bat,...

Pakistan, CSS, PMS, Book Reading, Being Liberal and Intellect

Pakistan, CSS, PMS, Book Reading and Intellect. By Muhammad Wajahat Sultan. In Pakistani Society, everything rational or academic is chagrin, disparaged, and confused with competitive exams or competition, which is the subjective and irrational. Book reading is a lifestyle to broaden the horizon and intellectual honesty in your life. To attach the stereotypes like CSS, PMS Kar rhay hotay loog is liay kitabieen parhtay. This is, believe me, academic dishonesty with own self. To observe that reading books or having an interest in reason and logic is proportional to preparations for competitive exams is a reflection of one’s intellectual scarcity in their own life. To all those who used to ask me and text me, bro, you are preparing for a competitive exam; believe me, if you read and develop habitués of reading for some competitive exams, this would be sheer injustice with your intellectual crisp. In Pakistan being liberal, logical, reader, writer, and critical thinker is labeled and ...

A short Summary of ' Rule by Fear ' Ammar Ali jan unveils many shrouded in mystery things in his book ' Rule by fear '. He has unleashed a scathing attack on many reprehensible people entailing Army generals, Beaurocrates,  politicians and Judges. How has army over years overtly and covertly interfered in the politics of Pakistan.  From abrogating constitution to blackmailing politicians, army has left no stone unturned in reviving their deep state practices every now and then. He highlights the influence of West on our army generals and talks about the moral panic in the country.  Women and Minorities at large have been the victims of this moral panic. Who Was Bacha Khan Baba? A Panjabi Writes About Bacha Khan

Bacha Khan By  Waseem Altaf   The Pashtun freedom fighter and Congress leader Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan aka Bacha Khan was a close associate of Mahatma Gandhi who together suffered the most severe repression of Indian independence movement. Bacha Khan strongly opposed Muslim League’s demand for partition of India. However, when Congress leadership accepted the partition plan, he felt very disillusioned and told the Congress "you have thrown us to the wolves."  The oppression of the British, the repression of the mullahs, and a primitive culture of violence and vendetta prompted Bacha Khan to serve and uplift his fellow men and women by means of education. At 20 years of age, Bacha Khan opened his first school in Utmanzai. It was an instant success and he was soon invited into a larger circle of progressively minded reformers. A champion of women rights, between 1915 and 1918 he visited 500 villages in all part of the settled districts of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. It wa...
