Difference between Buddhism and Stoicism by Naeem Khan CSP

Difference between Buddhism and Stoicism by Naeem Khan CSP  Research tells us that Buddhists believe that suffering comes from our attachment to desires, while Stoics believe that suffering comes from our judgment to external events. A Buddhist eliminates suffering by detaching himself from his desires. A Stoic eliminates suffering by being indifferent to all external events. As philosopher and author Nassim Taleb once wrote on the similarities between the two: “A Stoic is a Buddhist with attitude.” According to Buddhist teachings, one reaches nirvana by following the Noble Eightfold Path: “Just this noble eightfold path: right view, right aspiration, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, right concentration. That is the ancient path, the ancient road, traveled by the Rightly Self-awakened Ones of former times.” And what about Stoicism? It is a philosophy that stresses the importance of being in accordance with nature and accepting all of the t

Khudi or Self is a false philosophy of Iqbal

Khudi or Self is a false philosophy of Iqbal by Naeem Khan CSP. Iqbal's concept of Khudi is lopsided, paradoxical and incoherent.  He combines 3 different objects or subjects Self, Universe and God into one whole and that's Self or Khud.  This is empirically neither possible nor  desirable as how and why Self should be merged with Universe or God. God or Universe can't be Self. It's possible only in imagination or quixotic utopian scheme of an emotional or lunatic or religious paradigm.  Iqbal made human being as the central figure on the earth but we see that Science has told us about billions of other celestial bodies which may have different stories. Though human is rational, social, political and talking animal but it doesn't mean he or she is the best. Let's explore more possibilities.   Mard-i-Momin, the concept of Iqbal is only possible for a Muslim by religion. His message is not universal.  His approach is myopic, parochial, religious( not philosophica

Iqbal and plagiarism. Allama Iqbal And Plagiarism. Comparison

Iqbal and plagiarism. Allama Iqbal And Plagiarism. Comparison  Talking about beauty or life or something else in different words is creativity but translating same words from one language to another literally is plagiarism.  The man should be called translator, not poet. It doesn't mean Iqbal stole everything. I have studied every book of Iqbal in English, Persian and Urdu. There is plagiarism as well as some original verses.  He was not at all a philosopher with new Philosophy.  Here are some exact translations of Iqbal with his own name.

Did Allama Iqbal suffer from Bipolar personality disorder

Did Allama Iqbal suffer from Bipolar personality disorder or Split Personality as he has so many paradoxes? By Naeem Khan CSP Why did he put new wine into old bottles? Why not new bottles as well? For instance: He praises Karl Marx but gets the title of Sir from the Imperialist or Capitalist Brittain! He also denounces Democracy. He admires India as a nightingale of the garden of India but also extols PanIslam from Kashghar to Neil! And against the collectivism of Islam, he also promotes Khudi based on Individualism.  He tries to reconstruct Islam though he was not a Prophet and Islam was completed by God. He admires Nietzsche but Nietzsche declared God to be dead. He's considered as the dreamer of Pakistan and proponent of  Muslims' separatism but he also says: Mazhab nahin sikhata aapas mei bair rakhna, Hindi hai ham vatan hai Hindustan hamara (Religion doesn’t teach divisiveness. I am an Indian, my country is India.) He gave idealism to the world but he himself was totally

Is Capitalism exploitative? By Naeem Khan CSP.

Is Capitalism exploitative? By Naeem Khan CSP. Critics of capitalism view wrongly that the system is inherently exploitative as capitalists control the means of production (e.g. factories, businesses, machinery and so on) and workers control only their labor, the worker is naturally coerced into allowing their labor to be exploited. This is a wrong assumption as labor receives recompense for what it gives . We ask for employment ourselves.  Capitalists don't force us. There are labor unions,  associations and courts to redress any injustice with labor class.  Nowadays machine is replacing typical labor so human capital is now only managers or scientists or technologists and  that image of poor shabby laborer is gone.  In countries where Capitalism is in vogue like Japan or Canada or USA or Europe,  everyone is equally rich with all the basic facilities of life.  Both owners and workers of businesses are enjoying a satisfying life. We don't have low paid labor as minimum wages a

Knowledge can be your medicine 💊. By Naeem Khan

My discovery.  Knowledge can be your medicine 💊. By Naeem Khan Knowledge creation! I invented the  term Knowledge Therapy!  As a consequence of my dealing with thousands of persons, on-line or in real world, I have come to the conclusion that intellectual pursuits like academic learning; new words, new phrases or  ideas; writing blogs or meaningful posts on Facebook,  public speaking etc can cure your psychological or emotional or spiritual issues along with intellectual growth.  Once you're busy learning new stuff,  you automatically stop negativity,  depression, feeling  emptiness, rejection or dejection.   As you feel fulfilled by earning more money, same is the case with new chunk of knowledge.   Knowledge can be your medicine 💊. Capitalism is the solution by Naeem Khan CSP.

Capitalism is the solution by Naeem Khan CSP. How can you judge a country to be the best or worst? Countries can be the most populous like China or the largest in area like Russia or No 1 economy like USA or the most ancient like Egypt.  Canada is considered the overall  Best country.  The United States has held the position of the world's most-powerful country since at least the early 20th century. Canada is No1 in Education. UK has the best job market. Finland is the best for quality of life. India may be the most polluted. The most free country is Finland.  Iceland is the most peaceful country. Finland is the world's happiest country. Venezuela is considered the saddest country.  For me the best way make such criteria of THE BEST is per capita income.  Judge a country by its each individual that how much she or he earns. Quality of life of citizens make the country the best or the worst.  Let's  see from this  angle: Ireland (GDP per capita: $94,392) Qatar (GDP per capit

Why democracy is great? Here every one is the leader, the decision maker

Why democracy is great? Here every one is the leader,  the decision maker and the hero.  By Naeem Khan CSP Because in democracy every human being is the same. Democracies guarantees equality, liberty and pursuit of happiness.   Poor and least educated has the same status as the rich and educated as democracy gives credit to the potential that every human being is equally great just by being human.  Democracy is revolt against feudalism, dictatorship, autocracy, authoritarianism, Fascism, Nazism, Communism,  Socialism, kingship,  monarchy,  aristocracy,  plutocracy and all such systems which destroys the status of individual and make her or him as servant or slave of others.  In democracy, there are ways to resolve different views and conflicts peacefully as well as there is respect for human dignity. Everyone has the freedom to act, speak and think freely (as long as it does not stop others doing the same). Equality before the law, safe and secure community are other benefits of Democr

Difference between conspiracy and intervention. Sazish Aur Mudakhelat

Difference between conspiracy and intervention By Naeem Khan. Conspiracy is a secret plan by a group to do something unlawful or harmful. Intervention is the act of interfering with the outcome or course especially of a condition or process (as to prevent harm or improve functioning).  Politically intervention is interference by a state in another's affairs as many states invade, conquer, strike as imperialist etc in a negative way or as globalization, Internationalism,  International Cooperation, International trade, Neo-liberalism,  WTO etc in a positive way.  Conspiracy is a negative thing while a doctor or a teacher can intervene but can't conspire.  The recent explanation of differentiating both must be understood in this backdrop.  However, the blame or claim of conspiracy by a foreign government is never proved while reporting of a conversation by an official of one country by another country is not the stance of of the alleged conspiracy or intervention of the country b

Being a politician is something great. They manage States. Naeem Khan

Being a politician is something great. They manage a huge structure called STATE.  By CSP Naeem Khan. It's difficult to manage a small house or office or factory or firm but politicians manage colossal entities of States.  Even it's difficult to manage a small body or mind of a person, so imagine a mammoth country.  Let's discuss some unique political ideas and put forward suggestions that how a state may be managed properly and may not be mismanaged. May be you're reading it for the first time in your life! 1. In a true nation state,  there is no concept of minority or majority.  Their only political identity is citizenship of that country like all Pakistanis are in majority.  There can't be any minority as each member of the so called minority is part of the majority denomination PAKISTANI.  Let's stop this discrimination immediately.  Everyone is part of majority as in many developed countries.  All are Canadians,  all are Americans.  2. Was there any Madinah State? Naeem Khan Blogs

Was there any Madinah State? By Naeem Khan CSP What happened to the Jews and Non Muslims of Madinah? Was the ruler a Prophet or Elected  person to be head of the state? Was  mission of the  Prophet  to establish Islam, the religion or  a state? He never  assumed a political title. State needs politics not religion.  Quran doesn’t use any political title for the Prophet but repeatedly reminds that he is a messenger of God and asserts that he is the last messenger. He just came to deliver the message. How can you change religion with passage of time? State needs molding as per situation. Quran even doesn’t refer to the state of Madina and I doubt if any of the hadith refers to it, because a state is a political unit and its principles, roles and limitations continue to evolve as human civilization progresses.  A religion is about commands of God while a political system is about authority.

My criticism on the book "Forty Rules of Love"

My criticism on the book "Forty Rules of Love" which is a total waste of time and energy  By CSP Naeem Khan. The book neither depicts what Sufism is nor it's a usual romantic story book. It's a very ugly amalgamation of both.  It's like Paulo Coelho in a garb of  Persian mysticism and passing him off as a “modern” Sufi living in Amsterdam! Sufism is Islamic mysticism where focus is God ,not some human romantic relationship.  Adherents of puritanical and revivalist Islamic movements (Salafis and Wahhabis), who believe that practices such as visitation to and veneration of the tombs of Sufi saints, celebration of the birthdays of Sufi saints, and dhikr ("remembrance" of God) ceremonies are bid‘ah (impure "innovation") and shirk ("polytheistic"). "As far as the Sufis are concerned, the holy Qur'an is replete with obscure symbols and layered allusions, each of which ought to be interpreted in a mystic way. So they… look out for

Ghazali Damage To Muslims And Islamic World. By CSP Naeem Khan.

Ghazali Damage To Muslims And Islamic World. By CSP Naeem Khan. On Ghazali  Ghazali plunged Muslims in darkness and mental slavery. Ghazali is worse than Halaku Khan. His book Tahāfut al-Falāsifa ("Incoherence of the Philosophers") criticized Aristotle. This book made the Mullahs and theologians of Asharite school of Islamic theology dominant by  criticizing the Avicennian school of early Islamic philosophy. Muslim philosophers such as Ibn Sina (Avicenna) and Al-Farabi (Alpharabius) are denounced in this book, as they follow Greek philosophy even when it contradicts Islam. This book made  faith more dominant over philosophy.  Ibn Rushd (Averroes) wrote a refutation of Al-Ghazali's work entitled The Incoherence of the Incoherence (Tahāfut al-Tahāfut) in which he defends the doctrines of the philosophers and criticizes al-Ghazali's own arguments. It is written as a sort of dialogue: Averroes quotes passages by al-Ghazali and then responds to them. This text was not as

Ancient Greek philosophers identified six forms of love: essentially, familial love (in Greek, Storge), friendly love or platonic love (Philia), romantic love (Eros), self-love (Philautia), guest love (Xenia) and divine love (Agape).  Modern authors have distinguished further varieties of love: unrequited love, empty love, companionate love, consummate love, infatuated love, self-love, and courtly love.  Numerous cultures have also distinguished Ren, Yuanfen, Mamihlapinatapai, Cafuné, Kama, Bhakti, Mettā, Ishq, Chesed, Amore, Charity, Saudade (and other variants or symbioses of these states), as culturally unique words, definitions, or expressions of love in regards to a specified "moments" currently lacking in the English language.
