An interesting secret about Afghan' traditional Turban.
Shamla, Traditional Afghan Cap or Turban.
The style of Afghan's Turban represents the seeming feature of lord #Shvia (Shiva of Pakthas). The tail of turban shows the body of Snake 🐍, which circled the neck of Shiva and the top Shamla (شمله) of turban shows the head of Snake, and the medium part of Turban, which circled several times, shows the circled hair of Shiva at the top. Lord Shiva was from #Pakthas (Pakhtun) Vedic tribal union. The Turban is the main part of Pakhtun's culture and tradition. The worshipping of snake was the main part in Vedic religions, which was worshipping by Pakthas.
Use of Turban In Vedic Civilization.
Use of this turban is ancient, it goes back thousand years to the Vedic Civilization. Different kinds of turban are using in different parts of the world. The Sikhs have their own truban, Inidans are using the different kinds of turban.
