باخبر زرائع کے مطابق ناقص سروسز اور دیگر مسائل کی وجہ سے کمپنی کو سخت مالی مشکلات کا سامنا تھا اور ٹیلی نار مدت سے پاکستان میں ٹیلی کام مارکیٹ کے اندر مقابلے سے مکمل غایب جبکہ اصل مقابلہ زونگ اور جیز کے درمیان ہے

زرائع کے مطابق یوفون یا ایس ای او نامی کمپنی ٹیلی نار کو خریدنے کے لئے بہترین خریدار ہوسکتے ہیں کیونکہ جیز مسابقتی بنیادوں پر ایسا کرنے کی صلاھیت نہیں رکھتا اور زونگ کو دیگر کمپنییون کو خریدنے یا انضمام کرنے میں کوئی دلچسپی نہیں

Telenor Started Its Operations and Services in Pakistan 17 years ago and Now probably to be merged with Ufone or SCO Pakistan to exit from market. Telenor CEO has confirmed the News that Telenor Pakistan is looking for an opportunity of merger and this may happen very soon.
The Norwegian Based Telecommunication Company Telenor in June 2021 sold its all operations and installations to ba Beirut Based Communication Firm In Myanmar as Telenor was facing a huge financial loses there.
Telenor also left Indonesia, Thailand and sooner going to exit from Bangladesh and Malaysia also.
Last financial year Telenor India also faced financial loses in Millions Dollars and struggling hard to survive.

In Telecom service Industry in Pakistan Zong and Jazz are main competitors while Telenor was out of race long ago for its poor customer and broadband services.
Reports reveal that Telenor Pakistan was not paying salaries to its staff and technicians which caused many to quit and join other Telecom Companies.
Secondly Telenor is more focusing on European Telecom Market to invest in more lucrative and profitable opportunities. Telenor is almost leaving Asian Market to divert its focus and investment in European Market.

Zong is not interested in buying Telenor Pakistan as Zong Previous experience of Buying and merging of Warid Telecom did not add any value to service and customer numbers as well.
Jazz can not merge with Telenor as per govt competition policies set by CCP. So Ufone and SEO are strong contenders to get it merged and try to increase their market shares in Pakistan.
