Why we do unnecessary gubbins and avoid essential responsibilities? Why are we irresponsible and not dutiful?
By Naeem Khan CSP
For instance, you may spend hours and hours on scrolling Facebook aimlessly but won't study a text book or read research article or any academic onions for a few hours!
We enjoy a movie for hours but we're not so happy to prepare for an examination as a hardworking person in a smart way or listen to academic lectures or take interest in any valuable pursuits.
Why it's so?
Why distractions are attractions which are actually destructions?
Why we promise ourselves to start a serious useful work with stupendous results in the long run but fail to do so and fall to the easier, low-standard, nonessential odds and sods?
Why we avoid our duties? How can we be dutiful?
Deontology changed the Dark Ages of Europe into Enlightenment, so why not to apply EDUA( Egoism, Deontology, Utilitarianism and Altruism)?
Let's apply both Deontology and Consequentialism for a successful and happy life. Deontology is the normative ethical theory that the morality of an action should be based on whether that action itself is right or wrong under a series of rules, rather than based on the consequences of the action.
It's not only crime that police must arrest us. We can be our own police 🚔 as well.
In philosophy, moral responsibility is the status of morally deserving praise, blame, reward, or punishment for an act or omission in accordance with one's moral obligations. A person is legally responsible for an event when a legal system is liable to penalise that person for that event.
Let's start today our real duties. Let's enjoy serious stuff. Let's be academic, scholarly, investigative, innovative, analytical and professional persons.
Let me train you in today's session at 9PM in LPCS Classroom and start the journey of a dutiful, responsible and happily successful person.
