Another victim fell prey to lynching mobs In Khanewal Panjab Pakistan.
By. Samiullah Churmai.
Haste makes waste and unfortunately, we must conceded to fact that the wheels of justice turn slowly but grinds exceedingly fine. The people enraged were succumb to green-eyed monster fearing loss and dishonour to their religion. The factors that begets such horrible events are:
👉Religious intolerance
👉Self-interest
👉Tardiness of prosecution
We can cope with religious intolerance if our congregational heads on day of jummah or other day guides ummah of religious intolerance and their repercussions and how to hold sway over other religions by adopting concept of tolerance and peace.
No religion promotes violence, yet certain groups having evil designs and self-interests religion, forgetting its essence and deteriorating peace and harmony. Some examples of misuse of religion for self-interests are suppression of freedom, marginalization of the minorities in case of Sri Lankan man stone to death publicly, infringement of women’s rights, misuse of religion to control the minds of people for political benefits, and discrimination among people.
Judges and other hierarchy must be hold accountable for their laziness and ineffectiveness. They must play a pivotal role to get rid of approximately 2 million pending cases before courts. They must act in manner to assure justice and thwart citizens to act extrajudicially.
