Why democracy is great? Here every one is the leader,  the decision maker and the hero.

Because in democracy every human being is the same. Democracies guarantees equality, liberty and pursuit of happiness.  

Poor and least educated has the same status as the rich and educated as democracy gives credit to the potential that every human being is equally great just by being human. 

Democracy is revolt against feudalism, dictatorship, autocracy, authoritarianism, Fascism, Nazism, Communism,  Socialism, kingship,  monarchy,  aristocracy,  plutocracy and all such systems which destroys the status of individual and make her or him as servant or slave of others. 

In democracy, there are ways to resolve different views and conflicts peacefully as well as there is respect for human dignity.

Everyone has the freedom to act, speak and think freely (as long as it does not stop others doing the same).

Equality before the law, safe and secure community are other benefits of Democracy. 

There is more accountability and transparency. Press is free and vibrant. 

Democracy improves the quality of decision making and the whole society is involved in governance. 

Democracy ensures  the welfare of all, it is based on Public Opinion, people get a political education as well as government is responsible and it protects the rights and liberties of the people.

There is little chance of revolution under this form of government. 

Enjoy democracy as here very citizen gets the equal chance in participation of governance of the country and don't feel sad as those who have a chance of winning have a chance of loosing also, thus it gave fair opportunities to all. 

Democracy  is such a wonderful system that it will make every human being can be a PhD scholar or a billionaire as if  every citizen has one vote and that values one which means everyone are given equal importance, then they can have also equal future.
