Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has now publicly cited the comments made by Dr Rebecca Grant, a contributor for Fox News, as “proof of US conspiracy behind his ouster”
A detailed look at Dr Grant’s publicly available biographical information revealed the following:
Dr Grant has worked for the Secretary of the US Air Force and the Chief of Staff of the US Air Force and in 1995 she founded IRIS Independent Research. She has not worked with the US Govt since the past 27 years. She joined Fox News as an analyst in March 2022.
Dr Grant has slightly over 3,000 followers on Twitter. Given that she hasn’t worked for the US Govt is over two decades & is a contributor on Fox News, & has been a vocal supporter of Donald Trump, it is very unlikely that she has any access at all in the Biden Administration
Any comment by Dr Grant can be taken in her personal capacity but is unlikely to represent any official view of the Biden Administration’s Pakistan policy.
