PML N Has A Data Issue. Why PML N Lost In By Elections On 17 July 2022.

PMLN has a data issue. They don’t collect any data at all. They don’t know where the voter stands. They just believe in a rockstar style of campaign which works only on PTI and young people. That is not the base of the party anymore. Party ticket holders are old school.  [Thread]

The way PMLN campaigns is by 1) Taking selfies and promoting Maryam Nawaz’s Jalsas

2) Doing small meetings and corner  meetings/jalsas

3) Whatsapping tweets and messages about the party

This has been failing for over 8 years. Who has talked about changing something? No one   Maryam’s way of politics is just catered to the twitter users. She has held the twitter base of PMLN intact. She had a chance to take advantage of the open KPK party situation and build up the party there but she focused on just countering IK. It worked but wasn’t enough.

There are a lot of results that have proved that Maryam Sahiba’s style of politics doesn’t beat IK. I have said it many times but this party is like a dying company in an obsolete business. They are selling CDs and DVDs in a streaming world.

I asked 6 PMLN MPA candidates or their backing MNAs to tell me about their estimates. All of them said we are winning by 8-10k plus. This situation wasn’t the ground reality. Do you know why? No one bothers to ask PMLN MPA candidates to give a UC wise breakdown of the situation.

Now decisions are based on what the data says. A Fauji told me two weeks ago PTI will have 17 seats. What was that figure based on can be either of 1) Estab backed rigging (Highly unlikely) 2) Data and research. 

If a brigadier knew the result why was PMLN not aware I am ready to bet on this that no matter what I say or you guys say, they cannot and will not learn. Now we have 230 million people with 70% cellphones. How can you assume that on one side, IK with a firm from US advising him on what to do can be countered by just Jalsas?

First step for PMLN is to hire a firm that analysis where they stand vs where their opponents stand. They should also look at the fact that the elections are now not a game of a 5 year performance. Whatever your narrative is in the 100-120 days before votes will decide your fate

Once they know that they are not the dominant force that they used to be, they have to back their own workers and organic party people. They have to completely restart their social media. Their team’s top tier guys say “Ham Muft main Etna Hi Kar Sakty hein” and they are right They need to take this like a business. They are in a business of selling their message. Once they know for sure where they stand, they should look at what message works. If Imran khan can call them Ghaddar, why can’t they call him Chor, Yahoodi Sazish and Pagal?

They cannot assume that good ethics will prevail. Whatever PTI is doing, you have to counter that with what will be strategically more beneficial for your party’s pathway. Elections ka Keh rha tha tau you should’ve shocked him by going in elections right away. You did not.

Now he will take Punjab and ride this wave into the next elections calling you Chor, Ghaddar and incompetent as well. The only thing you had was calling him incompetent. Now he will call you incompetent for the next 11-12 months.

How can data assist them with is also important.

1) It keeps you self aware of the reality

2) It shows you that for every special geographic location, you have to look at which clan/bradri is stronger in numbers and what ticket holder will have the most support. Look at Khushab! 

3) It tells you where your opponents stand. You can look at where IK is getting stronger and use that against him by allocating more resources to lower his vote bank there. 

4) It can tell you what message is really working or not. Example: Ham Abhi Mushkil Faisly Kar rhy hein

Anyways I can keep on going but the summary is that Imran Khan won because PMLN didn’t know the reality of their own party, where their message stands and what candidates to choose from. I hope my open criticism on the party doesn’t personally offend people. You can do it!

One last thing, tonight and tomorrow people will tell Maryam Sahiba how “Establishment” deceived them. No! Your decisions were wrong. Your party’s people within didn’t support your ticket holders. You had no data. You need to work on properly analysis and everyone around you.

پنجاب میاں نواز شریف کا بیس کیمپ تھا اور پنجاب نے میاں نواز شریف کو مسترد کر دیا ہے ۔عوام کسی کے غلام نہیں ہوتے بلکہ نظریہ کے اسیر ہوتے ہیں ۔میاں نواز شریف نے جب تحریک عدم اعتماد کی حامی بھری تو اصل میں "ووٹ کو عزت دو " کا سودا کیا تھا ۔لوگوں نے عمران خان کو ووٹ نہیں دیا بلکہ میاں نواز شریف کی سیاست کو مسترد کیا ہے ۔

جب مریم نواز کوئٹہ میں لاپتہ بلوچوں کیلئے آواز بلند کرتی تھیں اور جب میاں نواز شریف گوجرانولہ میں آرمی چیف جنرل قمر جاوید باجوہ اور جنرل فیض حمید کا نام لے کر للکارتے تھے تو پنجاب کے عوام مالکوں اور نوسر باز کے ایک پیج پر ہونے کے باوجود ضمنی الیکشن میں نواز شریف کو کامیاب کرا دیتے تھے ۔اج جب بظاہر مالکان نوسر باز کی بجائے میاں نواز شریف کی اجازت سے بنی حکومت کے ساتھ ہیں تو میاں نواز شریف ضمنی الیکشن میں شاندار طریقے سے شکست کھا گئے ہیں۔

پنجاب کے عوام نے یہ بات ہضم نہیں کی کہ لاپتہ بلوچوں کیلئے بلند ہونے والی مریم نواز کی آواز بند کیوں ہو گئی ۔ لوگوں کو اس بات کا بھی غصہ تھا کہ میاں نواز شریف اور مریم نواز بھولے سے بھی جنرل قمر جاوید باجوہ کا نام نہیں لیتے ۔

پنجاب کے لوگوں نے تحریک انصاف سے منحرف ہونے والے لوٹوں کو ٹکٹ دینے کا فیصلہ بھی مسترد کر دیا اور واضح کر دیا کہ "ہم کوئی غلام نہیں ہیں"

پنجاب میں پاکستان پیپلز پارٹی نے کچھ نہیں کھویا سب کچھ مسلم لیگ ن نے کھویا ہے ۔بلاول بھٹو کو کوئی نقصان نہیں ہوا کشتی میں پتھر مریم نواز کے سیاسی مستقبل پر ڈالے گئے ہیں ۔ایک نادہندہ معیشت میں میاں نواز شریف نے حکومت نہیں سنبھالی تھی بلکہ مالکوں کے چار سالہ گناہوں کا بوجھ اٹھایا تھا ۔ نوسر باز کو گرفتار نہ کرنے سمیت بے شمار شرائط تسلیم کر کے لی گئی حکومت کا جو انجام ہونا تھا ضمنی الیکشن میں آج سب کے سامنے آگیا ہے ۔

میاں نواز شریف نے بہت بڑی سیاسی غلطی کر لی ہے ۔مالکان کا اعتبار تو پہلے ہی "ووٹ کو عزت دو "کے نعرے سے کھو دیا تھا اب عزت سادات بھی گئی ۔

اگر ن لیگ سوچتی ہے کہ مالکان نے  جس طرح تحریک انصاف کو  2018 کے الیکشن میں کامیاب کرایا تھا انہیں بھی کرایا جائے گا تو اب مزا چکھ لیں ضمنی الیکشن میں جو کچھ ہوا ہے وہ نوشتہ دیوار ہے کہ عوام نظریہ کی تبدیلی کو حقارت کے ساتھ مسترد کر دیتے ہیں اور مالکان بھی اعتبار نہیں کرتے۔

آصف علی زرداری نے جب آرمی چیف جنرل راحیل شریف کو للکارا تو میاں نواز شریف ان کے ساتھ کھڑے ہونے کی بجائے کالا کوٹ پہن کر میمو گیٹ میں آصف علی زرداری کے خلاف صف آرا ہو گئے اور مالکوں کیلئے شمشیر برہنہ بن گئے ۔

میاں نواز شریف کے خلاف جب میمو گیٹ "پناما " آیا کم از آصف علی زرداری کالا کوٹ پہن کر مالکان کی مدد کو نہیں آئے تھے۔میاں نواز شریف خود کو بہت سیانا سمجھتے تھے اب مزا چکھیں اپنی خود غرضی اور "ووٹ کو عزت دو " سے رجوع کرنے کا۔ اپنا ستیاناس تو کیا ہی ہے مریم نواز کے سیاسی مستقبل کا سوا ستیاناس کر دیا ہے ۔
