Reports coming in from Kabul, Afghanistan suggest that top Afghan Taliban ideologue Sheikh Rahimullah Haqqni has been killed in an explosion in his seminary in Kabul. 

"ISKP channels rejoicing over this news. Rahimullah Haqqani had survived previous assassination attempts including a bomb attack in Peshawar’s Dir Colony." 

Shiekh Rahimullah Haqqani is known for his fiery speeches against not only ISKP but also Salafis in general. He delivered sermons to Taliban units at the frontlines fighting ISKP.

He survived several assassination attempts earlier including an attack in Peshawar in October 2020.  It was 3rd and fatal attack which resulted his death.

Sheikh Rahimullah Haqqani was the idealogical backbone of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan against the ISKP.

Who Was Sheikh Rahimullah Haqqani? Biography Of Sheikh Rahimullah Haqqani. 

Sheikh Rahimullah Haqqani Was Born In Nengrahar and got religious education from Akora Khattak and Swabi while living in Pakistan as Afghan refugee. He was running Maddrasa Zubiri in Dir Colony Peshawar as Administrator before returning to Kabul after Taliban took over.

Shaikh Rahimullah Haqqani was teacher of Hadiths and once a key member of Taliban Military Commission. He was also imprisoned by US Forces in Bagram Jail for a long.

Rahimullah Haqqani has dedicated Facebook pages and YouTube channel with following in thousands. According to his students, he enjoys popularity among Islamists in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
