Sir Syed Ahmed Khan was an employee of the East India company and remained loyal to the British during 1857 mutiny & till his death. He retired as a judge in 1876.
He served as member of the Imperial Legislative Council from 1878 to 1883.
The British supported communal divisions. He founded a college and promoted education but what do you disagree about? He was a loyal employee of the British East India Company. That is an irrefutable fact.
