The social media platform Twitter was heavily criticized after the news that the Twitter accounts of two officials of the Taliban government in Afghanistan had been verified.  But now the blue ticks of these Taliban officials have 'disappeared'.

 According to the report of the British broadcasting organization 'The Guardian', the Twitter account of the Taliban government's access to information department head Hidayatullah Hidayat and senior media official Abdul Haq Hamad was verified until Monday.

 The number of followers on the accounts of the two Taliban officials is 187,000 and 170,000 respectively.

 According to the report, Hidayatullah Hidayat continues to share information on daily basis regarding the affairs of the Taliban administration.

 Earlier, the British broadcasting organization 'BBC' reported on Monday that the two Taliban officials have successfully obtained Twitter's blue tick.

 After the news of the Taliban officials receiving a blue tick from Twitter came out, many users on social media expressed their concerns, saying that the Taliban has links with terrorist organizations and their human rights violations.  History has been.

 The two Taliban officials have had their blue ticks removed on Tuesday following heavy criticism from users on social media.  However, it is not yet known whether Twitter removed the blue ticks of the Taliban officials or whether they removed the blue ticks themselves.

 The Taliban have been using Twitter for a long time to get their messages across, but they never got Twitter's verification tick.

 According to the BBC, Mohammad Jalal, identified as a Taliban official, praised Twitter owner Elon Musk in a post on Monday, writing that "Elon Musk is making Twitter great again."

 Twitter's verification Blue Tick was previously awarded to authentic accounts, active in the public interest and notable personalities.  But Twitter changed its policy in December last year and started giving Twitter Blue Tick to users after paying eight dollars a month.

 The two Taliban leaders are believed to have received the blue tick after monthly payments to Twitter.

 According to Twitter's current policy, blue ticks are given to authenticated users, while gold ticks are reserved for business accounts and winter ticks are reserved for government officials and other officials.
