د سیند د سپینو شګو نه مې جوړ کړو یو محل
دې ټول خرکي جهان ورته حیران حیران کتل
from the pristine sands of Indus, I built a citadel
in disbelief, it left the entire world’s people to marvel
قالین مې پکښې خور کړو د سرو پاڼو د ګلاب
اوچت یې دیوالونه د سازونو د رباب
then spread a carpet of all the rose petals that I could grab
and raised its lofty walls from high notes of the rabab
بیا رنګ مې ورته ورکړو له خوبونو د شباب
هر ګل مې ورته راوستو ملیار مې کړو بلبل
then painted it all over with colours of youthful dreams
gathered every flower, made its gardener the nightingale
نرګس مې په غیږ راوړو هم میلمه مې کړو رامبیل
د څاڅکو د شبنم نه مې ښایسته جوړ کړو امیل
invited jessamine, brought in my lap the daffodil
from the drops of dew made them a splendid coronal
نسیم په خندا راوړو زیړ ګلونه د چامبیل
شراب مې ورته کړه بیا د اوښکو د بلبل
gentle breeze brought yellow jessamine with a smile
from the tears of nightingale, I made them a cocktail
رڼا مې د سپوږمې کړه د زهرا پستې غزلې
خندا ته د تنزرو ښکلې زرکې ګډیدلې
took moonlight and Venus’s poetry, crafted in detail
pretty partridges danced to the laughter of francolin's musicale
د ستورو مستې سترګې غلې غلې رپیدلې
ورو ورو پرې مستي راغله د ځوانئ اور یی کړو بل
as the frolicking eyes of stars began to sneakily sparkle
imperceptibly intoxicated, the pyre of youth started to enkindle
