سوامي ویېکانند به ویل; «کله چې یونانیانو زموږ په سیمو یرغل وکړ' نو ساینس یې یوړو او پامسټري یې راته پرېښوده»

زما خیال د هغه وخت نۀ زموږ د ټولنې په تقدیر ایمان لرل برخه شو' کوم چې موږ پښتو کې په قسمت، نصیب، برخلیک او بخت وغېره په نومونو پیژنو او په دې اړه زموږ په فوکلور کې هم ډېر څۀ شته. لکه د بیلګې په توګه;

یا به زما قسمت خراب وي!

یا به دا ټولې یارانې دهغسې وینه

‏فکر بادشاه, سوچ مې وزير دى

قسمت فقير دی, در په در مې ګرځوينه

‏نصیب، قسمت ته ګناه نشته

بخت چې کوټا شي؛ پاچهان ټکرې خورينه

‏د خوشحالۍ قسمت مې نشته

غم مې د زړه په سر خیمې وهلې دینه

کله چې عربو زموږ پر سیمو یرغل وکړو' نو هغوي څخه کوم ساینسي علم نۀ وو او د علم حصول لپاره یې وروسته د یونانیانو کتابونه عربۍ ته وژباړل، د یونانیانو په کتابونو کې د پامسټرۍ خرافات هم پرېمانه وو، عرب چون صحرایي قبایل خلک وو' نو په ستورو او سپوږمۍ هغوي د وړاندې نۀ هم عقیده لرله او ددې په رڼا کې به یې مزلونه هم کول؛ حتی د عربي کالښود میاشتي د سپوږمۍ په رڼا تت کیدو پیلېږي او ختمېږي؛ اوس چې کوم پښتانه سپوږمۍ ته ګورې' نو وایې; میاشت راوخته

په دویم ځل دا خرافات پر موږ د عربو له لارې د یو نوې مذهب په شکل کې مسلط شول؛ کومه چې اوس زموږ د ټولنې، عقیدې او د ژبې شعر و ادب پخه برخه شوې ده ـ
