ikhtyaruddin Citadel. Herat Afghanistan History. English Blog

HERAT AFGHANISTAN  ikhtyaruddin Citadel اختيار الدين قلعه/ ارګ هرات Captured by Alexander the Great in 330 BC during his war against the Achaemenids, the town was developed, and a citadel built. To this day, Qala e Ikhtyaruddin (Ikhtyaruddin Castle) remains one of the oldest extant structures in the center of Herat city, built on the site of the ancient citadel. “The layout of battlements and towers that survive is thought to date from the early 14th century AD, when the Karts re-built a fortress that had been destroyed by the Mongols. Situated at the northern edge of the square-plan old city, the citadel was during the 15th and 16th centuries AD the seat of the Timurid rulers, and was part of the architectural works undertaken by Shah Rukh, who commissioned the tilework that can still be seen on several towers. The citadel underwent conservation in the 1970s. What I find fascinating about the castle is how this building has been used by many empires over time, for different functions

Martial Laws In Pakistan

Martial Laws in Pakistan Since achieving independence from the British yoke on August 14, 1947, Pakistan had been under army rule for almost a half of the period of its life. Martial law was declared in this period for three times. These coups happened because initial years of Pakistan's life were tumultuous to such an extent that country's first premier, Nawabzada Liaquat Ali Khan, was assassinated in Rawalpindi on October 16, 1951, and after him no government was allowed to work freely. Here is a brief overview of the military rule in Pakistan: 1. First Martial Law (1958): After Governor General Ghulam Muhammad was compelled to go on a two-month leave to the United Kingdom, Major General Iskander Mirza entered the office of the Governor General on August 7, 1955. President Iskander Mirza could not develop proper working relations with all the coming premiers. Muhammad Ali Bogra (April 17, 1953 to August 11, 1955) was the first prime minister under Mirza but he soon resigned

They were called Ashkuzi by the Assyrians; a similar name is known from the Hebrew Bible in the pedigree of Noah's decadency (Gn. 10:1-3):  Askeneze was the son of Gomer (i.e., Cimmerians). According to Herodotus (4.11) the Scythians came from the steppes east of the Araxes River (modern Syr Darya) and were pushed westward by the drying up of the steppe and by their eastern neighbours, the Massagetes (𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐚𝐤𝐚 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐬) (cf. also Diodorus Sicarus 2.4337).  The language of the Scythians belongs to the Indo-European group. Herodotus  gives two legends of their origin. The first describes Skythes as the youngest son of the first man, Targitaos (son of Zeus and the daughter of the Borystenes Rive

𝗭𝗶𝗴 (زِگ، ژِگ، جِگ) in Pashto it calls for highest things and also use for measuring. 𝗨𝗿𝗮𝘁 (اُرت) is also popular, it used as a synonymous in many Indo-European linguistics. 𝗨𝗿𝗮𝘁 (اُرت) means something very large, it has high usage in Pashto daily linguistic. 𝗨𝗿𝗮𝘁 (اُرت) remains purely Pashto. Also 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵 اُرت which is our planet's name, has originally come from 𝗨𝗿𝗮𝘁 (اُرت), means large and wide planet. By Athena Arya. Early Marriage. How Girls Can Maintain Health and Fitness

On Early Marriages. By Naeem Khan. There can be many reasons for early marriages as cultural norms,  the only way of legal sex, need of a helper to mothers,  no religious prohibition,  non-availibility of other activities like education for girls except marriage etc. Girls Fitness, Body Maintenance for Marriage However, one unique reason is the early deformation of body of many  females due to sedentary lifestyle as they can't play football or other sports. They can't run in parks. They can't go to gyms.  Consequently, they get obese or physically ugly or sick  and no body is ready to marry such a girl with so many loose hanging tissues,  big tummies and faces with wrinkles. People prefer younger women as they appear pretty.  If you maintain your body, even in 35 or 40  years you'll be physically attractive along with education,  employment,  money, business and smart personality. His regnal era (beginning probably in AD 127) was used for around three hundred years. This lecture will begin with an overview of the Kushan Empire and its visual and material culture under Kanishka, then focus on the personality of Kanishka as king and innovator.  Kanishka implemented several policies which were a deliberate rejection of the past, and specifically of the Greek past. The evidence of several inscriptions suggests that he discontinued the use of the Greek language as a public language of government and political power, but that some bureaucrats remained capable of writing it. An interesting secret about Afghan' traditional Turban

An interesting secret about Afghan' traditional Turban. Shamla, Traditional Afghan Cap or Turban. The style of Afghan's Turban represents the seeming feature of lord #Shvia (Shiva of Pakthas). The tail of turban shows the body of Snake 🐍, which circled the neck of Shiva and the top Shamla (شمله) of turban shows the head of Snake, and the medium part of Turban, which circled several times, shows the circled hair of Shiva at the top. Lord Shiva was from #Pakthas (Pakhtun) Vedic tribal union. The Turban is the main part of Pakhtun's culture and tradition. The worshipping of snake was the main part in Vedic religions, which was worshipping by Pakthas.  Use of Turban In Vedic Civilization.
