کلام.    : غني خان

ترجمه : انجينئر شمشاد خان

ورځ مې ورکړه زمکې له او شپه مې ورکړه ستورو له

ځان له چې کم عقل شوم، شوم هله هوښیار نورو له

سترګو د جانان کښې کله کله د ګل پاڼو کښې 

زه يې هر ځاے وینم شېخه، جوړ که جومات نورو له

لوئے جنجال ئې جوړ کٔړو چې ئې وېش د نصیب وکړو

دومره رحم سپینو  له او دومره عقل تورو له

واچوله نېک ټائي مُلابابا په خېټه موړ شو

زړه د غریب ستړې وو په تلو جنازو سپورو له

دا عجب اِنصاف دے ساقی ستا په میخانه کښې

موړ له د غوړو درياب او څاڅکے نه ځي نورو له

I earmarked the day for earth,

And night for Stars,

When became soft headed to myself,

I then looked clever to others.

I can see the Lord,

sometimes in the eyes of my love,

Sometimes in the leaves of the flower,

Oh sheikh!

Let you build the mosque for others.

A big misery came into existence,

When fortune was dispensed,

So much a pleasure for white,

And so much a wisdom for black.

Mullah baba wore NeckTie too,

After being with full stomach,

The heart of poor had been tired,

After attending the less value funerals.

Oh barmaid!

What a strange justice in the alehouse of your's,

For a wealthy yet an ocean of wealth ,

But no single drop for others.
