 Declaration Of The Banu Pashtun National Jirga.

Translation Of The Declaration Of Banu Jirga 14 March 2022.

The Representative Pashtun National Jirga Held On 11, 12, 13 and 14 March At Banu endorses Declarations Of the previous two Pashtun National Jirgas and Suggests new Action Points and roadmap To Pashtun Nation State Of Pakistan and International Community keeping The prevailed Situation In View.

1. This Jirga should be a permanent representative Institution of Pashtun Nation. The Jirga Suggests formulation Of A Special Communication and coordination Committee to supervise The implementation of the action points agreed upon during this jirga. This Supervisory Committe will also have to form further sub committees. A special sub committee for resolution of Tribal fueds and clashes In Pashtun mother land aka Pukhtunkhwa Watan.

2. In Pakistan, In reality constitution is abrogated and suspended.  This Jirga demands restoration and Implementation  of Parliamentary system with true and real spirits, Civilian Supermacy and independence of parliament must be ensured. Intelligence agencies must not interfere and engineer the politics.

3. All the state policies Including Foreign Policy must be formulated and implemented by  elected and representative parliament.

4. This Jirga demands govt in Afghanistan representative Of The Afghan people's free will elected through Afghan Jirga and free fair elections.

Jirga also demands that in future it should be high treason to The Afghan nation for anyone, Group, Party to take over govt by Gun power or any other unconstitutional mean. 

There must a democratically elected transition of power and government as per contemporary International Standards.

5. This Jirga shows concern over the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan and demands from the UN and neighbouring countries to help the Afghans in every possible way. The afghan refugees should be treated with legal standards.

6. This jirga demands a united Pashtunkhwa Province, comprised of South Pakhtunkhwa, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including Attok and Mianwali. Untill the meeting of demand for making of united pakhtunkhwa, Baloch and Pashtuns should be treated with equitable opportunities in every walk of life.

7. Truth and reconciliation commission should be established to invistigate and fix responsibility of the war being thrown upon the Pashtun land for the last few decades. A fact finding mission and invistigative committee should be framed to fix responsibility of what happened in Karachi on 12 May, 2008.

8. An independent and high powered judicial commission headed by Justice Qazi Faez Esa should be established to invistigate the killings of national martyrs including Usman Kakar, Arif Wazir, Arman Looni, Asad Achakzay and others. The report should be made public. 

9. All the resources of Pashtun land should be given in the ownership and control of sons of soil. In this regard, all constitutional obligations defined in the constitution of Pakistan should be implemented in its true meaning. Oil refinery should be established in the Pashtun land. 

10. This jirga strongly rejects the fencing of Durand Line and demands that traditional trade and commerce corridors should be opened for the people of both sides without any restriction. 

11. The occupation of all military or civil institutions of jungles, land, mountains, minerals, public and private buildings should be ended with immediate effect.
