Imran khan came to power supported by a cultish fan base; a hopeful following; blatant military support; coalition partners; lotas & big financiers. This was the base of his so-called tabdeeli. He then strutted & fretted upon the stage for 4 years with very little to show. 1/10 

His core cult is intact & vocal (amplified by some partisan media); chunks of his following (rural & urban working classes & more sensible middle/upper middle class voters - tired of empty slogans) has eroded, military has badly burnt fingers but some loyal top brass remains 2/10

coalition partners have abandoned; lotas bolted; & financial sugar daddies ruing they invested in him. His ouster politically expected & perfectly legal. He was sub-par, silly & aloof. Alienated many. Yet he continues to mischaracterize it as an international conspiracy that 3/10

involves global powers, every Pakistani institution & anyone who doesn’t deify him as the only & eternally eligible leader. His megalomania was always well known but having surrounded himself with flatterers & shunted out any critical voices in the party & thanks to constant 4/10

glorification by a team of self-serving conmen as well as naive & star struck under achievers it has taken on disastrous proportions. So much so that it is now inconceivable to him to sit out of power & he imagines himself as a global figure. He evades anything to do with actual performance, policies, team, plans & output & in a country with a youth bulge, low esteem, poor education standards & unethical media entities he has learnt how to misuse social media to deceive, deflect, rabble rouse & castigate. 

Since he doesn’t adhere to any noble  values his most lethal weapons are: conspiracy theories, castigating & character assassinating opponents w/out proof, putting himself across as holy, attacking & demonizing any institution that tries to hold him accountable & teaching an impressionable generation to answer any argument/evidence with abuse. That makes many who are otherwise disempowered feel falsely empowered; gives them a vent for many legitimate social, cultural, political & economic resentments. As recent events have shown IK’s ‘Scorched Earth’ strategy leaves nothing intact whether religious norms, Constitutional principles, laws, parliamentary practice, social mores, societal values, modern political ethics. Nothing. His is a posture/strategy rapidly deteriorating; making claims even to an unassailability that is Divinely ordained. He has decimated evidence based, cultured, constructive discourses, replacing them with a lynch mob culture that can easily descend into violent anarchy. All this toxicity starkly obvious but many are oblivious. Pls try & explain to those who will listen what a dire menace we face
