Eid ul Adha 2025 Holidays Notification in Pakistan
Islamabad: The Government of Pakistan has officially announced the public holidays for Eid ul Adha 2025. According to the notification issued by the Ministry of Interior, all government institutions, schools, and offices will remain closed from Friday, April 4 to Sunday, April 6, 2025.
🗓️ Public Holiday Schedule for Eid 2025:
- Friday, April 4, 2025 – 8th Zilhajj
- Saturday, April 5, 2025 – 9th Zilhajj (Hajj Day)
- Sunday, April 6, 2025 – 10th Zilhajj (Eid ul Adha)
🏦 Private Sector and Banks:
Private offices and banks will follow the same schedule. However, some financial institutions may extend holidays till Monday, April 7, 2025, to provide a long weekend to employees.
🕋 Eid ul Adha 2025 & Hajj Date:
Hajj 2025 is expected to be observed on Saturday, April 5, which will be the 9th of Zilhajj. Eid ul Adha will be celebrated on Sunday, April 6. Final dates will be confirmed by the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee after moon sighting.
