‏په نيمه شپه هسې راياد شوې 

هغه راغلی خوب مې بيا وتښتيدنۀ 

په ما دې کړې څه بلا ده 

په مخ مې غبرګې اوښکې ځي خوله درکومه

‏اختر پرون و، پرون تېر شو

د بغدادي کوترو نن راغلل سېلونه

‏که ته راځې غرمې ته  راشه

ابۍ کور نشته بابا ژرندې ته لېږمه

اسمان په ستورو ښائسته ښکاري

د زمکې سر په ښکلو ښکلو خوند کوينه

ځار په پښتو ولاړه اوسه

زه هم پښتون يم په پښتو درسره ځمه

الله دې خیر کړي څه به کېږی

باران وريږی زه د يار ديدن له ځمه

‏لاليه ښاد شې خود مختار شې

د قام سالار شې چې بيرغ درپسې وړمه

ښایست مې و نصیب مې نه و

خدایا په کور کې د بې قدرو ناسته یمه

زما د مرګ زيرے پرې وکړئ

چې په درشل پسې ولاړه وچه شينه

‏‎پکار دې نه وم درنه لاړم

که دې پکار وې نازولې به دې ومه

د يا قربان اواز دې تت کۀ 

رباب دې مات شه په مانځه ولاړه يمه

ډېر څه لرم ! وَيلی نشم

سپېرې پښتو مې په مَرۍ ايښي لاسونه

چې په سفر شوې وس به څه خورې

کمزوری بنګ دی د يار غم نه کموينه

د زړه نه چک پکې يوه نيمه وهينه
